So… it would seem that the 2022 wedding season is not only well under way, but firing on all cylinders!!! I’m in the grooove...
Wedding blogs on the other hand have had taken a back seat over recent times, but I aim to upload as much new work throughout this year as possible… just so many great moments I want to share...
My bookings this year span such a wide range of wedding venue types and locations, which is just how I like it. This wedding in particular boasts one of my favourite elements to any wedding… ‘outdoor ceremony’ :)
Now I wouldn’t describe myself as an outdoor wedding photographer… but, I do feel that my style sits so well with daylight settings and natures backdrop.
Sometimes you just get a tingly feeling from couples when it is the lead up to their wedding. When I met with Becca & Daniel just two weeks before the big day, the energy and positivity eminating from both of them was totally infectious and my already high levels of excitement reached a new peak. I had also been patiently waiting to revisit Batemans Barn for several years... so that, combined with my love for these two people had me revved up for an amazing day. I was not disappointed!!!
From the second I arrived that morning, the love and connection I felt amongst everyone present was palpable. Zero awkward silences, never a dull moment… and just one of those indescribable ‘vibes’ that can’t be faked.
This energy was certainly not lost from that point on…
With the threat of rain, the outdoor ceremony was questionable (for about 3 seconds) as the staff at Batemans Barn reassured us all that it will happen. Music to my ears as this setting was just perfect and everything just seemed to fall into place :D
The day was topped off in the evening by a truly epic and somewhat unexpected level of entertainment from the truly superb Bloodshake Chorus.
