TWENTY TWENTY THREE Sam’s Favourites
Every year I struggle to sum up my past wedding season with any less than 200 images… and yes, this year is no exception. So I won't sugar coat it… this is a big collection of shots, so thank you in advance if you make it all the eway through :)
Twenty Twenty Three was yet another wedding season that for myself, was career topping. Not only was it the most weddings I have photographed in one year… but it also brought with it yet another game upping bunch of individuals. I really can’t beloieve my luck sometimes when I get to hang with such a varied bunch of leg ends!
So on that point… I want to throw out a massive and widespread thank you to everyone I worked with, danced with, laughed with and cried with last year… I don’t take this job for granted I promise xx
These images I have chosen follow no pattern and no one theme. I am drawn to all of these images for many different reasons. Some of them in my opinion represent my best work from a technical point of view… some are just pretty moments with amazing light and atmosphere… a few just feature people I admire or warmed to in times of utter joy… others are “you had to be there” moments… so on and so forth. But, ultimately, they all make me feel something and transport me back to a moment in time that was special… and that is always my goal with wedding photography. If my couples can feel like they're back in a place through my work… Job Done :D
